Lenisna is a hybrid filler that combines both the benefits of an immediate filling effect, resulting from the use of HA hyaluronic acid, and long-term stimulation of collagen production, thanks to the use of polylactic acid PDLLA (Poly D, L – lactide)
LENISNA is one of the most effective tissue stimulants of collagen production known in aesthetic medicine – a protein responsible for hydration, firmness, and elasticity of our skin, directly speaking for its youthful appearance. The most robust cross-linked hybrid filler available on the market combines the effect of immediate filling provided by hyaluronic acid and, thanks to polylactic acid, stimulates the skin to produce collagen.
Lenisna is designed as a time-acting filler with 170 mg PDLLA polylactic acid concentration and 30 mg non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid. By adjusting the amount of solution and the size of particles from 50 to 60 micrometers with a round, porous shape and combining them with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, a hybrid was suitable for application in the subcutaneous tissue or periosteum. It treats deep wrinkles, flaccidity, and significant tissue losses.
The Lenisna product, due to the high concentration of polylactic acid and hyaluronic acid, is used to increase the volume of sunken areas of the face, especially to correct skin depressions such as skin folds, wrinkles, furrows, as well as in the case of visible signs of skin aging, drooping face and flaccidity. We can successfully use it on the inner side of the thighs, stomach, buttocks, and sagging arms.
Indications for the procedure

The positive effect is visible immediately after the procedure. The effects of the therapy last for at least 24 months after two/three treatments performed 6-8 weeks apart. The recommended number of treatments is 2. After 2 weeks, collagen production begins. The treatment is especially suitable for flaccid, atrophic skin with a lot of fine wrinkles and with small or large volume losses. Polylactic acid slowly but systematically rejuvenates the skin, thickening it and making it more attractive and radiant. The effect is entirely natural.
Application procedure of LENISNA:
- Subcutaneously
- The recommended cannula size is 22-25G, and needle sizes are 25-26G.
- It is applied to the subcutaneous tissue or periosteum
- Feeding technique: Deposit
- The recommended number of sessions is 2-3 treatments 6-8 weeks apart.
Thanks to the patented manufacturing technology, the risk of subcutaneous lumps formed when using traditional PLLA has been eliminated. The durability of the procedure lasts about 2 years. Such a long period of action for Lenisna is undoubtedly an advantage of this product.
